AL AMAL Medical Services - The Company
The very beginning has been almost 25 years ago when a gentleman from Jemen asked Safinaze Nawja Ezzedine for translating at this doctor's appointments and therapy at a German hospital.
Deeply impressed and most thankful for her knowledgeable and affectionate help he kept telling his family and all friends at home about this good experience. Accordingly, people from his country asked for Safinaze Nawja Ezzedine's help as well.
Thus Al Amal Medical Service has been born.
Presently, about 250 - 300 families from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, U.A.E. and Oman coming to German doctors and hospitals benefit from the supports of Al Amal Medical Service.
Today, much more than just translating is provided. The service starts at the patient's arrival at the airport and lasts for his whole stay in Germany, at hotel, hospitals, doctor's appointments, various diagnostics, during complete medical therapy up to departure.
It's the very individual care of the native Lebanese Nawja Safinaze Ezzidine that makes Al Amal Services so special. Her hospitality is best known and highly appreciated, people are used to being guests at her home for Arabian coffee, tea, dinner or barbacue.

The same she loves to care for her own family, whereas playing with her two grandchildren is her most favorite leisure- time activity.

Bridge to the East
It is obvious to award to Nawja Safinaze Ezzedine the title of a "living bridge to the East". Warm-hearted and charming, the Lebanon-born lady with almond-eyes cares for patients from the Middle East who perfer to be treated by German expert doctors in hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation units in and around Mainz, Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. The polyglot nature-talented Nawja even accompanies her clients as confidential person into the operation theatre whre she keeps pepping them up in their mother tongue.
The prophecy of her first patient from Jemen years ago, that she would help many people in her further liefe, has fullfilled exactly. By mouth-to-mouth propaganda her high reputation attained Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, the U.A.E., Bahrain, Bahrain, Oman etc. Because she feels bound to secrecy Nawja does not tell any names. Anyway, there are public figures of Arabian business, art, sports and last but not least royal aristocracy amongst them. They all feel in safe-keeping under Nawja's protection.
Her liefe sounds a little bit like tails of the 1001 nights: Until her age of nine years she has been brought up by her beloved grandmother grew in Beirut. Thereafter, she came to Abidjan at the Ivory Coast, "the Paris of Africa", where her father, a sawmill-owner and the other nine siblings had been living. She had been taught that "it is most important for children to learn something". So, being married already to the car dealer Hani Ezzedine, Nawja Safinaze graduated from grammar-school. Five months later, her eldest son Khaled has been born, today a trained pilot and cooperator at Al Amal - Medical Services.
For more than thirty years now the vivacious triple mother lives at Mainz-Kastel, right between Mainz and Wiesbaden. She has a German passport, even though she keeps telling amused: "I am a foreigner here and there". Confessing to being romantic with the favorite-colour blue she is a bookworm "in Arabian, German and French" and fan of Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavor and Om Kaltoum as "Arabian Piaf". With the TV-known Kuwaitian author Laila Al Outhman the unbelievably young triple "granny" is close friends.
